We see God’s heart for the poor, marginalised and those in crisis. We are committed to reflecting the heart of God by meeting needs, providing rescue and challenging injustice
Compassion reflects the goodness, kindness and mercy of God. We provide food and practical support here to those who are in need or in a crisis. We reach to those near to provide warmth, shelter and kindness, listening to their stories of leaving homes and families behind. We reach out far to the poorest of the poor, in North India to provide water, toilets and micro business support.
“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry
and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked, to clothe them,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?”
Isaiah 58 6 - 7
